Keukenhof is a historic park, covering an are of 32 hectares, 15 km of footpaths (boleh lelah laa jalan tgh bunga - but i think Josh will appreciate this more than i did ~ i'm a bit flower-illiterate "ada ke term tu?") with 4.5 million tulips in 100 varieties (i got it from the brochure - pure-fact!). Keukenhof's season runs from late March through late May, with the park open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. (The ticket office closes at 6 p.m. - but you may buy the ticket from the Leiden Central ~ 19 euros - bus ticket two-way (bus # 54) + park entrance fee) or from the Schiphol airport (bus # 58). Daffodils (teringat time sekolah menengah baca sajak pasal daffodils, tp tak pernah tgk pun ..), hyacinths, and narcissi are on display when the gardens open in March, with tulips making their appearance a few weeks later. The best time to come is in the last half of April, when you're likely to catch everything blooming at once (next year the park will be opened from 19 March - 20 May ~ anyone ?). Ok guys, let's the magic begins ...
I've started my journey from my apartment exactly at 12 noon (after i grabbed my horrible home-made brunch). Again, the train was re-routed somewhere else (but i did manage to ask some locals ~ they helped a lot ~ so, no more random walk again).

Left: My horrible brunch.
Right: My horrible smile (at the Amsterdam Zuid station)

Left: Along the way ..
Right: The beginning. (suspen ni .. jeng..jeng)

wowww .. i wish i can roll down here ..

"teringin jugak nak bwk balik rumh ni ... "

To miss pinky: Jangan bersedih lagi ... see, many pink tulips ..

Left: Sirap ros + susu = air bandung .
Right: Dazzling orange. (The Dutch royal colour)

My favourite, the night queen. Mysterious, hidden, unknown. (actually the color should be black, but the experiment was failed).. it turns to dark purple. Still great.

Left: Tulips from Mars ? heh..heh..heh
Right: Tanggang and his wife ~ the Dutch version - kena sumpah jadi batu ... heh..hehh
(disclaimer: Kindly ignore this statement, based on non-existing facts)

Take a break
Left: bread with the raw herrings .. ada berani ? .. taste rating C+ (euro 2.5)
Right: cherry and crunchy waffles ice-cream .. rating A+ (euro 3)

Left: Too big ... too big (kaki t-rex kaa ?)
Right: Windmill ~ a typical icon of the Netherlands

Left: From my window .. (i wish ;-) )
Right: The Teletubbies

Left: The Head of the Dragon (theme of Beijing 2008- The Olympic Games
Right: Assorted tulips ..

My backyard ..ha ha ha ha .... (wake up !!!!)

Ideas, for your living room (mcm pelik aje idea ni .. ikebana ke?)

My "ladang" tulip ...
(come ..come get it for free ...)

Right: Time to go out (but ..the queue was terrible .. )
Left: Free drink, for waiting in a very long queue.
The flower shows in at Keukenhof can be categorized according to 4 themes, namely as Oranje Nassau (normally daffodils, roses, carnations, special bulbous plants, etc) , Beatrix (orchids, anthurium & bromellia), Willem Alexander (Tulips, lilies, perennial plants), and Juliana (begonia). The Kuekenhof garden has been in the Netherlands for almost 60 years, and is the one of the most popular attractions here (with more than 42 million visitors in the last 58 years). For those with SLR camera, this place is not to be missed (shamrie and hafiz ... dengar tu ... bila mau sampai ?). Come to Keukenhof with your family, friends, and everybody, and enjoy the ultimate greatest spring feeling ever. It is the most beautiful spring garden in the world (sejak bila jadi promoter keukenhof ni ? ...Josh, (boleh la decorate your garden like that), Pinky (bila mau guling2 sama itu tulip warna pink, Danial (next year, come and visit once more :-), Maya, Doss, & Wira (next year you have to be here. ..).
