Persistent

Salam & Good day,

In computing, a persistent data structure is a data structure which always preserves the previous version of itself when it is modified. But in life, according to Merriam-Webster on-line dictionary ~ persistent can be defined as
" continuing or inclined to persist in a course / continuing to exist despite interference .."

A simple (nice) definition, but pretty hard to be materialized. However, despite facing many obstacles, we, humans are well-adaptive creatures. We have managed to survive through many events of our history. From our social perspectives to our bodily functions, we have adapted and managed to tell the tales, till now.
or, .... at least try to see those problems into a smaller perspective ?
or, ... sometimes we tend to exaggerate things ?
or, .... as a typical individual, we think we are far cry from being a good one ?

Yup, some people will ask, how we can have those guts to stay and stand for what we are believing? As for me, the answer is pretty straight forward. You have to know what you are doing, have faith, do your best, and leave it the rest to God.

After all, divine intervention plays important roles in our history. Sometimes, by seeing those things in a different perspective, probably they are not as bad as our mind has always trying to say.
So, rather trying to stay within that vicious loop, take a moment. and perhaps, you will find ways to be persistent. * or stubborn. :-) or .... sometimes you have got to dig a little deeper.

there's time when we shud be persistent... but there's time we shud know when not... hehehe...

man persist till now because of genetic recombination that prepared us for any kind of environment.
sedikit pandangan dr sudut genetik.

It's a noble thing to relate the microscopic aspect of your computing work with the principles and philosophy of life. It reminds me of the ancient observation of the work of ants that resulted in the mechanism to build the pyramids and also the modern visualization of the swift and collision-free movement of hundreds of fish to overcome the future global transportation issues. For me, persistent is the key to conjure a masterpiece, though one may risk dying like the stubborn frog in a boiling water...

danial - ha ha ha, winter is here, biking sounds sooooooo not cool :-)

zampeada - well, of course, there is a clear boundary when we should not be doing those things, but most of it worth to venture. :-)

lynawan - yup, might be, but probably that still hypothetically correct. ..heh....heh...heh
survival of the fittest?

jumper - exactly. sometimes we need to be a bit stubborn to get the ends. sounds typically ironic, but it works. heh..heh..heh do you think so? don't you?

r.salju - yup, mungkin semua org mengalami masalah yg sama. (to be persistent), tp insya' Allah tawakal dan usaha byk membantu.

nbc - to be mentally stubborn, positive things aren't they?
