The Day I Was Born: For My Mother

Salam & good day friends,

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
"A person came to Rasulullah (may peace be upon him) and said: Who among the people is most deserving my companionship (of a kind treatment from me)
Rasulullah said: Your mother.
He, again, said: Then who (is the next one)?
Rasulullah said: It is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you).
He said: Then who (is the next one)?
Rasulullah again said: It is your mother.
He (again) said: Then who?
Thereupon he (The Prophet (peace be upon him)) said: It is your father."

Across the globe, people were celebrating the Mother's Day. An honour to all mothers, who are sacrificing her own needs, for the sake of her love ones. For sure, it reminds me of my beloved mum. One of many things about her that i respect most is she understands the important of seeking and disseminating knowledge. (she's good in maths too! ..... i bet she is better in multiplying numbers compared to me). I still remember when i was a kid, i was always argued with her why there were many rules to be followed. Now i know, it shapes for what i am today. For the greater good.

Being here, thousands miles away will not shatter my endless respect and love towards her. Deep inside, i wish i could bring her happiness, more than any mother could ever have. Gifts, money, and tangible materials will not bring justice for her priceless and remarkable sacrifice to raise us. I know my mum will not read this blog. But, it is just a simple appreciation towards her. To mark her endless love towards our family, and our love towards her in return. To my mum, Wan Khadijah Wan Ahmad, i love you, and my prayers are always will be there for you. Many thanks for all great things you have shown me. Happy Mother's Day. May Allah bless will always be with you. I hope you're grateful to have me as your child. Still, i need your guidance all the time.

And to all mothers, Happy Mother's Day to you too!. May Allah bless you. This song is just for you.
