All Time Movies / Dramas

Movies ? ... i can say - each and everyone of us will adore great movies .. and some movies might relate to us emotionally, ambitiously, and unconsciously. For me, i would rather to say, these movies will always - make us literally laugh to death (takde la sampai mati kann .. bahasa2 figuratif sahaja ni), smiles (heh..heh..heh boleh senyum sorang2 kadang2 tu), and dying to be in the front of the screen when time comes (ooo ini kalau dah ketagih, sah2 kan ... mesti terpacak depan tv). Owhh, by the way, movies here are also referring to any movies in cinema or soap drama, or any sequels. 10 movies, from my point of view that will make me crazy to stay in my couch.. and doing nothing. Just watch it endlessly. But I will talk only 5 of them here (the rest will be in the another entry)

#1 Cinta

yup, this movie. The flow of this movie is really fluid, smooth but some irrational things were portrayed (for example: negative influence of non-marital concept, false ideas of organ donation ..etc). I love all four love stories that have been narrated (-but i'm not so fancy with pierre and sharifah amani actings ~ too fake) .This movie brings us the dimension of love in many facets of life, angles, and perspectives. Love means; to accept, to care, to sacrifice, to let it go, and to be together. I can say, some of it related to my life - personally (wahh ... sedih la pulok). I guess the music scores are well blended in this movie (Perpisahan by Abe Nuar anak Pak Zain, Cinta by Jac & Misha and many more). This line might relates to us

# 2 Maero Attack

Ha ha ha .. for those who were born in 70s and early 80s, this movie was a must. I can say, when I told others about this – the answer will “yeaa .. cerita ni buat aku ponteng kelas” and etc. This movie was eventually attracted me to play volleyball. Yup, being among Chinese friends, volleyball is one of the games that must be played. The main anchor of this movie is Chun ~ player yg comel pakai tocang dua (acted by ..) with her main tagline “somersault berputar” (err.. bukan somersault tu dah berputar2 kan?). The best part when she tries to master the new spiking skill that was invented by her mum. (mau gerun la Russia / Cuba / US time tu). Even it sounds too much to have such a technique in volleyball (mati laa kan melompat bagai nak rak utk satu mata aje kan), but that was typical Japanese movie genre. This begins with the players in Baikushi club, - their effort to reach to the Olympic game. It talks about friendship, dedication, betrayal, and loyalty. Such a simple movie, but yet it made me skipped most of the evening classes – just to watch this movie. (baiklah .. kami akan berusaha dengan gigih)

"Somersault berputar"

# 3 Grey’s Anatomy

I love this movie (kalau cerita ni ada dulu, sah2 minat bidang perubatan) and I will stick in front of the TV to watch this. The series revolves around Dr. Meredith Grey (by Ellen Pompeo), who began the show as a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle. The title of the show is a reference to the famous medical handbook called Gray's Anatomy. The plot of the movie is mainly centered around Meredith Grey (sexy, - her lips ares seducing .. opsss), the daughter of the once-renowned surgeon Ellis Grey, becomes an intern at the Seattle Grace Hospital. She meets fellow interns Cristina Yang (suka tgk kekiasuan minah ni .heh..heh), Isobel "Izzie" Stevens (comel dia kan), and George O'Malley who will be her closest friends during the intern program. Dr. Miranda Bailey (she did a good job with this part), who is nicknamed "The Nazi"; Alex Karev, another intern who is not very popular with the other interns (especially Izzie); and renowned surgeons Dr. Derek Shepherd and Dr. Preston Burke (in previous episodes). Up to now, this movie will have its 5^th sessions, by end of this year. (nampak hidup filem dan jalan cerita .. tak silap kita pernah ada cerita pasal perubatan / pelajar perubatan kita di TV ~ yg entah apa2. Lawak pun ada .. yg paling lawak – time dlm ICU, pesakit tu konon2 tgh sakit tenat ~ doktor dengan tenang sgt2 boleh tanya encik sakit apa? .. ayoo org tu dah separa nazak boleh lagi borak .. lepas tu siap pesakit dengan nada mengerang kesakitan yg mmg nampak sgt buat2 boleh citer semua benda .. td sakit tenat kan? ..heh..he..heh nak muntah ) *

# 4 Desperate Housewives

The setting of the show is the street of Wisteria Lane in the fictional American town of Fairview, Eagle State. It follows the lives of a group of women, seen through the eyes of their dead neighbor, as they work through domestic struggles and family life, while facing the secrets, crimes and mysteries hidden behind the doors of their – at the surface – beautiful suburban neighborhood. The show secrets of Susan Delfino (who has finally married the love of her life but is now faced with the challenges of a blended family), Lynette Scavo (who struggles with work, health and family issues), Bree Hodge (who tries to keep her image of perfection even as everything crumbles around her), Gabrielle Solis (the newly married ex-model who seems to have everything she has ever wanted - a rich, powerful husband, a big house -- everything that is, but a husband she truly loves), Edie Britt (her search for true love) and Katherine Mayfair through the perception of their deceased friend, Mary Alice Young.

I like this dialogue by Bree ~ "Addicts are experts at deception. So my advice to you -- trust, but verify."

# 5 Puteri Gunung Ledang

Despite many criticisms towards this movie – for me it is a very great one. I admit the dynamic of the story from plot to another is a bit slow, but it won’t deter me to stay. The movie is based in the late 15th century Sultanate of Melaka and the grand Javanese kingdom of Majapahit, against a backdrop of war and mysticism, the movie is about the forbidden romance that blossomed between Gusti Putri, a Javanese princess, and Hang Tuah, the famed warrior from Melaka. A vivid dream compels the Princess to commit the unspeakable, and leave her assigned palace life. Without the consent of her king, she sets sail across the open seas, with the unflinching hope that she can be reunited with her one true love. History, mythology and fiction are fused to tell a fateful tale of forbidden love, in a time when allegiance and honor to country are foremost to personal desires. Despite confessing his love for her, Hang Tuah will not forsake the Sultan's wishes. Brokenhearted, she agrees to marry the Sultan on the proviso that he is able to fulfill seven prohibitive conditions (the infamous conditions). But, the best part I can say – the way how such seven conditions were narrated – using big leaves falling from the sky. The musical scores used in this movie are also awesome.
