First - it has nothing to do with cheese (physically).
Second - it is just a book, 96 pages book -and it took me almost two-hour from cover to cover, since i'm not a speed reader. It was written by Dr Spencer Johnson, one of the well-known authors in change management.
Cheese, is a symbolical representation of our complacent life (you can use either budu or cencaluk) does provide a useful reality reminder for people (like us) who find their lives hard in this fast moving and dynamic world. It tells the story of four creatures namely Sniff and Scurry (mice) and Hem and Haw (tiny mice-sized people). These creatures live in a big labyrinth (maze) and must look for cheese every day to survive (basically, this is why cheese is there). They've gotten used to finding a big sized of cheese in one place, until one day it's not there anymore. Sniff and Scurry (that is me) run out immediately to find new cheese, while Hem and Haw get freaked out and worry and waste a bunch of precious time-by mumbling and doing nothing (implies to me). Meanwhile, both Sniff and Scurry find cheese and are doing their daily routine wonderful.
There is some truth in this book (that hit me to the ground). Sometimes I really think i have no benefit much from thinking about negative events like annoyed by my boss (opsss), and frustration, because more random-silly-madness feelings than miracle-hoping-cheerful enlightenment hidden in misfortune. Well, sort it being biologically wired in our mind with it. So, a simple solution, we just have to deal with it and move on. Yup, it is too realistic to just go by saying, but i do believe we can make our life better when we know how to move on. To turn the right button, and to turn off the wrong one.
Yup, life is not just a single on-off button, but God does not make it too complex either. I guess, we have been told that God will not give a pile of burdens that we will not capable to handle. Me as me, firmly believe that. Sometimes, when we are in the darkness, we will blame the darkness, without thinking how turn on the light. It applies to me - all the time. heh..heh..heh. Change is inevitable, everyday we have to face changes, with or without our consent. We have to accept changes, move on with our boundary (since not all changes are possitive). Everything changes! ... so, no harm to move on for something possitive.

Salam Azizi...
Good post... I may say... :)
I do agree that our life is full with buttons and it's up to us to choose the right one every time we reflect to the situation...
We do make history of the past... our own... or even mistakes... but, we learn from it as our journey of life continue... we moved on... :)
Our life likely like rainbows... full of colors and even the dark ones... :) but, we took it as inspiration as the learning process still go on...
Changes not always be a bad thing... we may change for good or bad... it's still our choice... :) winkwink... I believe we have to choose the right button rite???
Life's about choices... choose wisely!!! :)
Yup betul sangatlah tu bro. Saya pun dah baca buku, simple tapi memang mendalam pengertiannya. Tapi bila sampai pratikalnya kita kadang-kadang kantol gak.
Sometimes, betullah. Kita dalam zon 'comfortable'. Tak nak berubah. Tapi sometimes, ada sebab musabab lain kita tak nak berhijrah ke tempat lain.
Sama macam Malaysia. Buruk baik pun kita tak nak tinggalkan betul dak. Hak hak hak! Sama juga tempat kerja, kadang-kadang kena buli pun kita nak gak kerja situ. Pasal life bukan pasal duit sahaja, tapi banyak2 benda2 lain gak.
Macam kekadang kita syiok kat sorang awek. Awek tu punyalah nyampah kat kita, eksen kat kita. Tp mengapa kita buat poyo jer, nak jugak kat dia.. muahahaha.. tepuk dada tanya iman!(cam cerita asrama-asrama dulu :P)
Lupa plak. Pasal awek bukan cheese. muahahah..
[love-n-hate] ..salam, yes indeed. pretty difficult to choose the right one. probably the right sounds to ideal - the best one should be great. i guess divine guidance is needed. istikarah will do...
choices .. ! :-)
[ciklee] .. ha ha ha kisah2 asrama ye .. sekolah dulu kan mcm2 kisah putih hitamnya. :-)
betul tu .. hijrah digalakkan .. utk sesuatu yg lebih baik.
tp nak mulakan tu ... alahai..
wah... "pakcik said" tuh klu cakap ala2 whisper galadriel... sure seram sejuk... hehhee...
[zampeada] ~ kena la aku duduk kat Lorien & guna Mirror of Galadriel. Lepas tu cakap
"I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star. May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out"
..tapi suara tu garau la kan. heh..heh..heh..
