After almost 2 weeks here, I began to accommodate myself to be among the crowd. Well, again, I went to the city of Amsterdam, with one mission – to get a sweater (last week, still with the same mission – but I managed to get myself a pair of shoes *major changes in budget, really I need to let go the RM money phobia now, otherwise I won’t get myself a thing” – by the way, the shoes are really cheap, it is a pair of hiking boots actually). Spring is showing a tremendous amount of great views, and it is no longer freezing all days long. I have only two sweaters, and both of them seems to be suitable for winter or freezing days.. But since sunny days had already have dominating most of the time (but it is still cold enough to make yourself shivering with around 10 degrees at daylight, and 2 degrees at night).
See !, I have told you, i didn't proceed further at the Red Light District (Daerah Lampu Merah). My next stop is the flower market. Many flowers are sold here, - and the most famous one, and what Holland is famous for - the tulips. Many colors, like you're watching a picture of live painting. Tulips are one of the main agricultural commodities in Holland. April and May is the best time to see full-blooming tulip.. By the way, you cannot see them in such here (reminder : this is a market, not a garden!). To do so, you may visit the Keukenhof park. While watching those flowers, my mind struck to the song "Gadis dan Bunga" by Rahimah Rahim ("mata lirik2 selalu ") ... and also our former Minister of Health, Chua Soi Lek. heh..heh..heh (what he is doing now ? ...)
